Hello,

Close to 3 weeks ago I finished my isotretinoin course and was left with redness and I think acne scars but they might be pores that are very open. What can I do as of now?

Thanks

Hard to tell with that lightning but it does seem like you have 2 or 3 scars.

Azelaic acid or a tetrinoin cream should help make that pigmentation fade away faster. But check up with your dermatologist that prescribed you isotetrinoin and see what they say first.

Apologies for the bad lighting, just to be sure which would be considered scarring?

These look like boxscars, but it's hard to tell with that lightning, you have a few small icepicks in your other cheek as well.

The good news is that your scars seem very shallow (except the icepicks) so you can expect very good improvement using correct treatments. :)

Ah I see, thank you very much.

My doctor told me to use tretinoin, adapelene for the redness and marks. Anyone have any experience with that?
