Why is it so difficult to find a doctor who does subcision

Recommended Posts

I'm located in Connecticut and can't find a derm or surgeon who performs subcision. One surgeon even claims on his website he does subcision (he is even the #1 result on google for "connecticut subcision") yet during the consultation a nurse (the doc didnt even show for the consult) claimed only derms do subcision.

Does anyone know of any doc in connecticut or at least new england that does subcision??

Dr. Shanthala MD Medspa does subcision. She is not in Connecticut, but she’s in New England.

Boston Acne Specialists in Cambridge says they offer subcision on their website, but I haven’t verified.

Can I ask you if you have personally been a patient of Dr. Shanthala, and if you have was your subcision a success? I can't seem to find any before and after photos for subcision on her website

Hi, stay AWAY from Boston Acne Specialists in Cambridge. Dr. Ishoo is a quack. He has a long, shady history. You can look at his fake reviews on Google, the way he and his office attack anyone who posts a negative review, his abandoned previous businesses (also in cosmetic work), TONS of negative reviews for his previous practices / locations, the fact that he has a restraining order out against him...I could go on.

Also his regimen gave me more scars and it was hella expensive. yay!

Dr. Neelam Vashi at BMC also does subcision  :)

She doesn't use nokor or canula, though - her technique uses a Dual Bevel 1.0mm angled Sideport Knife
