I've been debating whether I should get Sculptra or Voluma since my face is thinner and saggier thanks to disappointing useless lasers and not sure if I would waste my money by getting sculptra? I received strong lasers in the past and barely made any new collagen and was wondering if that can be the same thing with getting sculptra since it relies on your own body to boost collagen? Do any of you have experience with it, and did you guys see noticeable difference in regards to volume in your face? Many say sculptra is very natural looking vs voluma and can last way longer. How about your experience with Bellafill vs sculptra?
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

It really depends on the severity of the scars and how extensive the fat loss is. If they're localized scars, you're better off going with HA fillers. If the atrophy is widespread, then Sculptra will be more helpful. However, keep in mind that you will need at the minimum of 3 injections and it can take up to 6 monthsto see its full impact.

I have a question about Sculptra. According to doctors on the web, results of Sculptra last for up to 2 years. I called a scar specialist recently and this person said that the Sculptra solution will dissolve over the 2 yearcourse, but the collagen made by it will stay. I dont know if the 2 years is only for its intended usage, Sculptra for acne scarring is off-label and therefore, research on it hasnt been done or released.I dont have much more information attesting to this specialists claim.Can you provide some clarification if you can?
Also, this is for the widespread loss and not just filling in individual pits.

In my opinion, these are more of a marketing ploy than anything else. Just like food on the supermarket shelf, companies attach an expiration date on these fillers in order to bring consumers back on a regular basis. From what I've heard, fillers last much longer than their expiration date.Sculptra, for example, can last more than 2years. But exactly how long? It's anybody's guess.
I would agree that Sculptra should be reserved for general fat loss, as in gaunt cheeks, rather than as a volumizer for individual scar pits. Thats all great information that I didnt know before. Thanks! But when the filler does dissolve, will the volume loss go back to the way it was or will the created collagen be retained?

Sculptra helps stimulate your own collagen, so any newly formed collagen will be permanent.
