Hi Guys,

Really don™t want to upload a pic but here goes.. I™ve had acne since I was probably 16 now 31 i don™t think I™ve ever had a clear face tbh.

I've tried antibiotics didn™t work.

I've tried several skin regimes no successes.

what do you think this is ?

A skin specialist said she thought it could be to do with my Dairy intake - I probably eat chocolate every day.. but I do eat my fruits and vegetables all the same ! I also drink lots of coffee and tea ( both decaf ) have a sugar but I swear I don™t see how this can be dairy unless you have any proof from yourselves that™s cutting out dairy worked.

thinking of getting some blood tests done for hormonal imbalances :(

It's always a good idea to get your hormones checked and make sure you're not suffering with PCOS.

Other than that, your acne looks run of the mill to me. Chasing after 1 thing at a time like dairy will lead to years of no results in my opinion. That's what I did for years.

If you find you have PCOS, your doc would most likely suggest oral contraceptives. They handle hormones pretty well and lead to good clearing in most women.

If you don't have hormonal issues, take the quiz down at the bottom of the page and you'll see a lot of good info that will get you clear.

Hi tasha,

Have you considered taking supplements?

More specifically these 3 supplements:

Blemless

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blemless-Supplements-Tablets-Complexion-Blemishes/dp/B07CKV68HG

Zinc

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tablets-Swallow-Gluconate-Nu-Nutrition/dp/B01GG7RFC6/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=25mg+zinc+gluconate&qid=1590488835&sprefix=25mg+z&sr=8-5

Omega 3

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Strength-Softgel-Capsules-Nu-Nutrition/dp/B07G191RYK/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=omega+3&qid=1590488903&sprefix=omega&sr=8-6

1 month of taking these and I'm 95% rid of acne. The remaining 5% is the odd spot or 2 that pop up but disappear within 2 days.

Blemless in particular has had a tremendous effect in making my skin less oily and calmer.

Word of warning though... week 2 or 3 on blemless does make you purge pretty severely. It has a detoxifying effect which will clear your skin but then almost by magic on week 4 your skin starts improving dramatically.

I reccomend taking these 3 supplements along with washing your face twice a day with a 2% salicylic acid wash (preferably sulphate and paraben free and leave on for at least 1 minute) followed by a decent, organic moisturiser.
