I have been suffering for the past couple of years,when i started to have acne scars.
I never see this coming as i never had scar problems until i was 30.
Of all the rush to saved my life from the scars,i have done qswitch yag lasers,and multiple times of microneedling (6 or 7) with little to no effect at all.
These previous treatments were done by some spa or aesthetician,which i later found have very little understanding of my type of scars.
Recently i have switched the treatment to Subcision + PRP + Fractional laser as consulted by dermatologist from a proper clinic as i am looking to improve the result.
But i still have doubt whether i have made the right choice of treatment for my type of scars.
I think i have mainly ice pick scars, boxscars and some textural irregularities.
And from what i have read and found online,especially here,there are other types of treatment which is better to treat this types of scar (tca cross,excision,etc).
I really need help on which is the right treatment to invest,as this should be a marathon and all i want is a proper result.
Scars have really affected my social life,and i am quite a different person now.
But i am still positive there's a good chance to improve it.
I wish with all the experience and knowledge of this community member,i could get some help on deciding my future treatment plan.

I am moved by the progress made by a user named Reailly altough i'm very new in this forum.
But what stalled me from moving to TCA cross is the lack of specialists to do it here.
There are 2 Doctors which i found,and both of them used Nokor for subcision.
I've had a pretty traumatic experience for the first Subc,as it kinda stuck halfway trough my upper left cheek and i remember the Dr pushed it quite aggresively,resulting in quite blackish bruise (pic).
The other thing is i am not sure which one of the PRP or Fractional lasers which have done quite well in the first treatments.
Right after the procedure i think i have a very tight feel on my cheek and it seems like the scars almost gone (refer post subcision pic).
I am very cautios about doing tca cross,altough it seems like for my kind of scars i dont have much option.
I just hope that i am right to replace the PRP with TCA,and continue with Subcision + Fractional Laser.
Will be posting update soon,and i would like to hear any kind of advice in the meantime.
