90% tca cross at home log

Hello every one.

Well, I’ve just created this account to share with u guys my scar treatment log that I’m Doing at home. In fact i tried tca cross once before 4 months and it really helped my scars a little so i decided to redo it again. However I cant stop going to work so i wear spf 50 every 2 hours and when i go back home i wash my face with gentle cleanser and apply healing ointment. Don know actually weather its right or wrong to wear sunscreen over the scabs but this is what I’m doing anyway. Now i’m at day 6 , scabs started to fall by end of third day and till now i still some scabs havent felt off.

Will be posting the results pictures and please guys if you have any tips you can help me with It would be highly appreciated..

Looks good although starting at 90% for your skin type is a little high at first. Keep moisturizing and try to keep the scabs on as long as possible. Also try taking pics with angled lighting so you get a more clear look at scars and texture. Good job.

Thanks for the advices.

I’ve just bought Adapaline and hydroquinone. Can I know what is the best time to start applying it?

can i start applying em immediately after scabs get cleared?

Thanks

Generally, TCA can make scars wider with your skin type. I also have olive oil type skin, so for us and Asians TCA CROSS can make things worse when you first start using it. After my third TCA CROSS (80%), I stoped because I felt like the holes weren't filling like they're supposed to and was afraid things were looking worse. The left side was way worse. So this was December 2018.

Spent 2019 doing 3 subcisions, 3 phenol CROSS, a few Vbeam, and a microneedling session as well. My right side is looking fantastic. Left side has improved a lot compared to 12 months ago, but still have noticeable issues if you're up close and to my left side. It's like new scars that replaced what was there before near my lower temple area down about 1.5 inches. I'm allowing my skin to heal so I didn't do anything in December except retinoids like Retin-A and adapalene 0.3% and some AHA creams here and there.

Takes a lot of patience and things can work out. Lots of material about TCA CROSS on here and the web so keep studying and do your thing.

Did you notice any scar widening with phenol cross? I've done only one TCA cross so far and already have 2 scars wider so decided that I'll probably look for phenol instead next time because of what people are saying about it.

I have done Phenol Cross several times and have not noticed any widening of scars.

I haven’t noticed scars or the areas where TCA was placed get wider.

Looks good thanks for keeping us updated with pictures and your progress.  How often are you planning on doing the tca cross?
