Years of Acne Scarring

Hello all,

I have suffered from scarring due to acne for nearly a decade now. Some of my scarring had been there since I was in middle school, where as I am almost 22 now.

Although my acne is under control, I still suffer from scarring, even from the smallest of breakouts (actual scars not PIH). I use benzoyl peroxide and retinoic acid everyday to help keep my acne under control.

So far I have tried using tretinoin and high concentration TCA peels (30-40%) to help improve them.

What type of scarring do I have and what is the best thing to do for me to get rid of them? Is there anything I can do to stop new ones from forming?

Thank you

It looks like a mix of boxcar and ice pick scars, but some of the scars are tough to make out. TCA cross, subcision, etc. are options to look into

Yep, like what @Skin Pessimistsays, boxcar and icepick, but they're really shallow, or at least, what can be seen in the picture. Some subcision alone might help. And if you like, a laser treatment to even out skin tone.
