Hey guys,I'm going the gym currently and am trying to gain muscle and weight. This will probably result in my face gaining a bit of fat before I decide to cut. Will the process of bulking and cutting affect my acne scartreatments due to face fat gains and loss?

Bulking will put fat and water on your face so it will stretch out existing scars and mask them. As you cut they will start to appear again. Also please make sure you have active acne under control because bodybuilding is androgenic and tends to aggregate acne.

Considering the scar treatments, I don't think it could have a significative influence. Some common supplements like collagencan even have a beneficial effect. Notice that shortly after some treatments though, your skin may be very sensitive and sweat and heat produced while exercising can cause irritation.

Now, from a purely aesthetic point of view,I think that it depends on your type of scars. If you have deep tethered scars and fat loss(roling scars/wavy skin) they may probably look a bit worse. On the other hand superficial scars may be less visible as mentionned by joeysk. In anycase thisshould really be a tiny effect.

PS: I'm not any kind of specialist

If you have atrophic scars, I don't think gaining weight and bulking will hide these types of scars. Ask your derm their opinion as I've never seen this question asked before.
