Skipslegdays 1 Share Posted November 17, 2019 One clinic near me (Waterloo, ON, CA) offers RF microneedling using the Alma V Shape Ultra. I googled it and information on it was scarce. This video is the most informative I've found on the device. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ClV02y-dms The clinic's consultant told me that needles penetrate the skin at a fixed depth, with the heat input controlled by the doctor. Does anyone have experience with this machine or something that works the same way? I am looking into getting RF microneedling done, but my impression is that something like Infini delivers the best results. The doctor should be able to control the needle depth depending on the skin thickness. If the Alma V Shape Ultra's needle depth stays the same, will it be able to treat the entire face from the thicker cheeks to the thin skinned forehead? joeysk 37 Share Posted November 19, 2019 Infini/Genious is the gold standard. Recommend you do you manual methods first (Fillers, Cross, Subcision) before RF if you have severe or deep scarring.
