How do vegetables work on acne?

I was never a fan of veggies, but I found out that whenever I have a healthy diet consisting of a lot of greens for a continuous period of time, my face would clear up. 


Less inflammation on the red angry pimples and, whiteheads are remarkably less visible. Skin is glowing, and not dry and red etc. 


I see results especially with broccoli, kale, spinach, cauliflower.... 


I just wonder what in the greens work on acne? The vitamin A? Anti oxidant properties? Fibre? 


I am looking to supplement that so if I skip greens for a meal or two I won’t have to worry about a breakout.
