Planning on having erbuim or co2 after some subcision. How long should I wait from laser to tca or phenol peel?

@Tdayton89That's not how we treat scars 😉 ... We do manual methods first treating the deepest issues like subcision or tca cross. IT depends on your scar type and customized plan that was made. Bad Dr's will simply laser you for scars.

Ittakes 6-12 months to heal from laser studies show. Sadly many Drs combine many treatments for $$$$$, this effects side effects and outcome. It also does not allow you to see what works and doesn't as you will be under massive swelling. This is a marathon not a race.

Your sensitivity, healing, ethnicity, and outcome is variable(and not like anyone else's plan). As such you may need 6 months but on average we do at least 3 months between treatments. Manual methods first, then energy devices, and lastly something for texture like a peel or resurfacing.

It all depends on your scar type.

Phenol peel is always done lastly for texture, not first, .. this has massive amounts of downtime, so prepared for that.

Many treat over 3 years as they have time and money, there is no rushing it.
