Hey,

First of all I want to say hello to everyone and sorry for my English as it not my mother tongue ;)

I had mild ace, mostly cystic and I must admit that I was trying to get rid off it by myself which left me some shallow scars.

I am needling at home with derma roller 0.75mm as 1mm was to hard for me and started some mandelic peels at home. The photo shows my face after couple needling sessions and one mandelic peel 20perc.

Is there anything I can do with them in home?

@jigliThank you for posting a picture that is helpful.

Your english is fine.

Your scarring is very minor, ... many would not treat this as treatments can also have side effects.

You have small ice picks and boxcars.

** Please Note I offer to acne scar suffers a "more" "customized" (private) consultation than the above general advice. Analysis, answering questions, ongoing support by Private Messaging. Feel free to message me there. Be patient as I can get over 100+ of the worst acne scar cases to help, it "may" take me up to 48 hours to respond.

Checkout the main scar treatments sub, find the FAQ pinned on top there, goto the bottom, there are Dr's or call around and ask who does cannula subcision or nokor subcision (needle type) to dermatologists and or plastic surgeons, consult a few before you decide who you like, even if you have to pay as treatment is expensive, better like them. Ask how many subcisions they do a month and if they treat your skin type. If they just do laser run they will just blast you and not solve your issue.

Hey,

Thank you for the answer!

I could not find dermatologist who do tca cross. Do you think there is a change to get rid off it only with acids like glycolic or mandelic? I was searching for some before and after threads onthis forum but I did not find anything which makes me believe these acid help me.

Should just one TCAcross session help or there is more than onenecessary?

@jigliWelcome! You can try simply with acid peels many and dermastamping. We don't search off of what other's have _____ scars, ... we go off what your scars are and customize treatment. You have icepicks. It's normally a few. Try your peels and microneedling at home first. Most Dr's will do laser for this, fyi. You can consult with a few and see if there is anyone you like.

Is any change in the scarring already visible? I so get used to them that I hardly see any change...

I had couple of mandelic peels made at home and couple of times did a dermarolling.

Thank you in advance for feedback?

one request to you

please dont treat these scars

these are nothing ...almost 80% people on this earth have these type of minor scars ...

problem starts when u get severe scars

these are not noticeable to others in any way...only you see them

They are making me so sad... I was getting rid off the acne by my own fingers to punish myself and I really want to forget about this time. As long as I can see them I can not forget about hard times... this is maybe more psychological reason than esthetics but it exist...

@jigliPlease see a professional Dr who is a acne scar specialist if this bugs you. Most Dr's would say these are not reasonable to treat, the ones that do would want to do so for your money with unnecessary things like laser. You can continue to needle and peel at home if you wish. Mandelic is not a strong peel, do Glycolic or TCA if you wish. Please be aware your scars are not bad, the side effects from treatments could be worse than the scars, the aftercare - down time.

Do a exercise for me, goto Google Images, type in ... Hollywood without makeup, movie stars bad skin. You will see the countless lumps, bumps, large pores and small scars by the famous who use makeup daily, have photoshop artists and instagram filters. They have the money for countless plastic surgery but you cannot fix skin completely. This then means your trying to achieve something that is not realistic and this is a form of BDD or finding imperfection with yourself.

I suggest you try something mild at home like dermastamp or chemical peel. Dermatologists won't be worth your money/time.
