I had subcision, prp and c02 laser performed last month. I need a refill of new moisturizer and sunblock. Can anyone recommend good moisturizer and sunblock that won't cause me to breakout?

Thank you.

EltaMD sunblock and Facetheory Oil free moisturiser. The latter is amazing!

Hello,

I think the brand doesn't matter, as soon as it says "oil free" you can use it. Personally, I use one from Neutrogena which is oil free and with SPF 35.

Can confirm the EltaMD sunblock is great. Skinceuticals sunblock is great, as well. As far as moisturizer I've never had an issue withCera Ve. On the pricey side but AMAZING are the moisturizers from Avene.

I go to an Acne specialist, she has me on TIZO2, it's 40 SPF. I'm sure you can buy it in different strengths. She's a really good specialist, very keen on paying attention to the things that is often overlooked but things that are actually pretty important, like the active and none active ingredients. She likes this sunscreen because it's amazing at protecting your face but also doesn't clog your pores. Idk, she goes into some scientific reasons for why she uses the products she uses, I'm not good at re-explaining lol. But anyways, here's a link to it. I buy it from her but you can find it online as well. Here it is [Edited link out]

Just wanted to add that I've been using EltaMD for a few weeks now daily and my skin is great. It definitely hasn't caused any acne. I had one hormonal breakout in the middle of that time (weirdly in the two days I forgot to wear my sunscreen?)that went down faster than usual. I prefer the clear, non-tinted one, SPF46.

I have used elta md and loved it. My skin type is combination, oily t zone and dry cheeks, pimples pop up in random places and take ages to heal.

Right now I am alternating between Paula's choice mineral moisturiser with spf, and krave beauty beat the sun. Both are not pore blocking for me and lightweight, plus doesn't leave me oily and sweaty looking after application 🙂

I absolutely adore the Lancome Bienfiat SPF 50. It is oil free and absorbs very quickly. I used the Elta MD before this and love this one so much more. It's a bit more expensive but totally worth it.
