Hello, Im looking into Fraxel treatment for acne scars and so far Ive checked out two options: Dr. Edwin Ishoo of Boston acne specialists offers Fraxel treatment for $2500, and Dr. Kenneth Arndt offers it for $4000-5000. Ishoo is way cheaper but I dont know much about him, whereas Arndt seems like a national expert.I am wondering: does anyone know of any other good doctors in the area who do Fraxel? And does anyone know whether I can expect much difference in the quality of Fraxel treatment from different doctors that justify higher prices (as opposed to any competent doctor being able to do a good job)?
No idea, ... there is a dermatologist in Boston on our FAQ list - bottom part (post is pinned on the top of the acne scar sub). Have you tried the find a practitioner resources on fraxel's website, then cross reference on yelp and real self. Or you can just try real self. Laser is so common and every Dr does it so it's very easy to find, we advocate for manual methods first, laser Dr's are a dime a dozen.
