Hello. I have mild scarring on my face, so I have visited some plastic surgeons and they pushed me to pursue laser treatments. After reading some posts on this website, I learned that laser would do more harm than good. I live in the States but I'm willing to make a trip to another state to see a specialist in the field of acne scar revision. My question is: does Dr. Novick treat only severe scarring or can he treat those with mild scarring as well?
I was told by the plastic surgeons that I have icepick and boxcar scars on my side cheeks but they don't appear to be tethered. I again don't think laser would be a good idea and I certainly don'twant to make the scars worse.Thank you and God bless.

Yes Novick treats mild scarring. Depends what you need done right. He can be expensive NYC prices and only uses manual methods. I would see Dr Wiener if you can travel.
Laser does not do more harm than good, you don't use something if you don't need to, why get blas... we fill the potholes with manual methods before we resurface with laser. They don't resurface before filling the potholes, ... generating your own collagen.
