Hi! Ive PCOS& also IBS-C ! After dealing with acne for 7 years my dermatologist prescribed me Roaccutane yesterday! He said its gonna cure my acne ! But Im very confused as Ive heard acne might come back worse after stopping !Ive mild to moderate cysticacne & mostly scaring! & I feel my constipition makes me breakout a lot !Ive tried several antibiotics including doxycycline, tetracycline & currently on roxythromycin ! They does work for awhile ! & Ive tried differin ( topical retinoid)! It stopped working after 2 years & right now I started using BiRetix-duo ! Should I go for Accutane? & Ive never been on birth control ! ( 22 years old)

I recently started Accutane about month ago and I've seen a small improvement so far. I am going to be completing the course around the end of February so I will let you know the outcome. I would advise to read up about it and understand the side effects. For me, my lips have become very dry and sore which at times has become difficult to cope with, I'm hoping it will all be worth it in the long term.
