I have these scars from past 8 years and I tried multiple sittings of derma roller(4-5), fractional laser (4-5, in 2016) and erbium laser (3 - done this year) but still don't see the result I expected. Can you please help me with the treatment to cure this and can you please recommend any good doctor around San Jose area? Appreciate you help.

@Casey9The bay area has some of the worst acne scar dermatologists in the world. Why I cannot tell you. Probably they graduate from their residency at Stanford a famous teaching hospital for Dermatology and move elsewhere for their practice. That being said see Morganroth I suppose in SJ, though he is overly enthusiastic with lasers and not manual methods. He is the owner is California Derm that prices fixes many derms in the bay area. You can call their main number and they will give you someone that does subcision, or call Stanford dermatology and ask for someone that does derm from the teaching hospital there. I send most people to Dr Rullan in San Diego as he is better with ethnic skin, and does mainly manual methods as a top 1% acne scar specialist.

Lots of box cars, Rolling scars, and some icepicks

Thanks for the reply. If I go for subcision treatment every 3 months can I go do laser in between? Or It has to be 3 months apart. Just wanted to clarify.

@Casey9No you do not do laser in between;-),... always manual methods first, then we move on to energy devices. That would mean you do TCA cross and your subcisions. IF you want to do something in between you can microneedle at home. Laser is done at least 3 months after a subcision if your desire is to alternate treatments. 3 months is the minimum you should wait between treatments. Dr's will stack all of the treatments the same day if you let them. This is when I have to deal with mess ups / mistakes.
