Okay I’m 22 years old and have had persistent cheek acne for 3 years... I’m allergic to accutane so that is not an option. I’ve gotten laser treatments as well. Please help! Also how long did it take for people to notice change when they changed their diets?

hi, acne on the cheeks may be linked to your lungs and liver. A diet high in sugar and dairy may caused acne on the left cheek whereas acne on your right cheek may be caused by a high sugar intake. Smoking may also be the cause of acne.....
Have you tried taking antibiotics??

^^I wouldn't be linking acne to the lungs and liver..

I know a lot of people notice an improvement in acne when they cut back on dairy and sugar.  Dairy wasn't an option for me, but luckily I found something that helped my cystic acne.
