I have cystic acne and sometimes it hurts pretty badly, currently waiting on a derm referral to sort it out once and for all. But until then I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for products or methods to help cool my skin a bit? I'm currently sitting with a clay mask on my face that I put in the fridge for a few hours and it feels verrryyyy nice but obviously not something I'd want to do every day. Any help would be really great!!

try rinsing your face with sea salt water. it will help reduce the swelling abit.
I feel like the clay mask might be too harsh, try using fresh aloevera instead?

Alternating between cold and warm cloths, along with ibuprofen I found helped a little bit. Good luck <3

you could even try crushing and dissolving some aspirin in water and applying that to your face. I haven't tried it but my friends like it.
