11yrs on the Regimen

Recommended Posts

For real. I've never missed a single morning or evening. I've done the regimen every day, without fail, for the last 11yrs. For the most part, it has worked well. It cleared up my skin when I was a teenager which was a big deal. But every time I tried fo stop, the acne would always come back. I noticed that my 4 siblings who never did anything to manage their acne as teenagers, and they now have beautiful naturally clear skin. I often wonder if I had just done nothing, maybe I wouldnt still be struggling with acne. It seems that the benzoyl peroxide has really taken a toll on my skin. My skin is full, dry, and lifeless. I have so much hyperpigmentation. After having my third baby last year, it seems that BP isnt even keeping my breakouts in check anymore. I have cystic spots every month as well dozens of small spots on my forehead and temples.

I'm just done.

D - O -N - E.

Ready to move on from the regimen.

But this is all I've ever done, and I've been doing it for over a decade. I dont know where to go from here. I dont know what would work on these cystic spots. I dont know what to do!

Any tips? And ideas??

Hi, I'm in the same boat! Been using the BP Gel for 15 years morning and night. But now my skin is rejecting it and I'm so dry, flaky and discoloured. I'm terrified about what is going to happen to my skin without the BP. I'm going to try washing my face when I come home from work and then again before bed. I'll keep you posted!
