Alright so I was started on Adapalene 0.3% and Benz 5mg last week and for the past 2/3 days my face has been in tremendous pain and I™m not even sure how to describe its appearance. It™s almost like scaly and constantly shedding. I can™t put anything on it as it literally feels like I™m being stung by a wasp if I do. I™ve attached some pictures to hopefully help. If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Well using BP and Differin is extreme its constantly drying your skin so, if you dont moisturize with a good moiaturizer your face is going to get dehyrated. Second do you put sunscreen? BP and Differin makes your face sensitivity go up meaning your skin is more prone to burns. You could have gotten a sun tan and basically burned your skin. I suggest avoiding sun wearing a hat and spf, but at your stage I say dont use anything till it heals seems like your face needs to recover.
Its most likely the BP thats causing your face to hurt. That is one of its sideffects as it causes a burningsensation. Should have used 2.5%.
