With anything the scars can be made worse. For something like this you could do exicision and resurfacing. The other option is a series of tca cross and resurfacing like a peel or laser.

It will look worse before better. You can always do nothing if you wish. You have to treat over time.

Risks are you heal poorly or it looks worse. You can always try some mild peels if you wish first or have the dr treat inside the scar with paint on (spot peel using a brush or q-tip). Instructions are in the FAQ, under the peel section, and the mega-post.

The reason I mentioned excision is you have so few scars and it can be punched out and stitched up.
