That is news to me. Accutane was originally prescribed as a chemotherapy drug but as far as i have read, it does not cause cancer. It is not to say this drug is 100% safe. Most people use it with no problems long term, some develop issues. Speak to your derm about your concerns and take care of your body as best as you can (nutrient dense foods, limited to no alcohol, etc). Take care of your body and it will take care of you.
