Using Duac & Azelaic acid; Safe?

Recommended Posts

I have been using Duac for one week after visiting a doctor about my rosacea , even though I'm not sure of its effectiveness on rosacea (the pharmacist says if it does anything for me it will take a month or two which is the usual with any sort of medication or skin care) it has been quite good for my overall breakout issues and my overall skin is a lot clearer minus the mild rosacea rash on my cheeks. Prior to using the Duac I had been using Azeliac acid as a spot treatment, sometimes if I'm just at home I will apply it 2/3 times a day to help speed up the process of shrinking the breakouts I may have. I have been applying a thin layer of Duac to areas on my face where I am most prone to breakouts or where I have current breakouts (at night only), is it safe to apply Azeliac acid on top of the Duac or is it best to use the acid in the mornings/day time?

Thanks in advance:D
