I awoke to this massive cyst that appeared on my lower back. It's big, very firm and hard and appears to have raised all the skin around it up very much. I've got a lot of acne previously but this is the largest I've felt. It's painful and I tried to pop it bit it may be too early it wouldn't go. Any suggestions? I'm just glad it's not on my face thank god!!! Does this mean im not washing my back good enough and exfoliating? I havent been exercising so no idea how this coulda came about. Help is much appreciated , Im kinda scared.
have you touched or scratched that area before the cyst appeared? -it might feel bigger than it is, due to its location. i had a large cyst/lump my upper arm, once it poped ( very small amount of pus came out), all swelling went away pretty fast.
these types of lumps are so deep under the skin, most creams and washes wont do anything to help.
sometimes i find applying aspirin topically helps reduce the swelling. do some research on "asirin masks" before trying.
