Hello :) , I'm 20 y.o and really lost about my skin I'll get you up quickly:

August 2017

I did not have a wonderful skin, but compared to what will follow I would have liked to keep it ..

September 2017

I do not know why the condition worsens very quickly I will see my dermatologist, he prescribed me isotretinoin, I made with this dermatologist 2 months to 20mg and then to 40mg ( I weigh 70Kg)

December

I have to renew my treatment but he is on vacation .. I am going to see a new dermatologist, and he looks at my condition and tells me that it is not going at all .. according to him before starting the treatment, we would have cleanse the skin: (.I therefore do 4 skin cleansings at this new dermatologist I look like this for a week after each clean  (my new years was fun) :4.thumb.jpg.c754cd7315ca3ef92f4177e8070094fa.jpg

So I continue with this same dermatologist who seems more competent than the first (youngest) he prescribed me 1 month at 40 and 3mounth at 60mg (so in all my cure will have been 20mgx2 + 40mgx2 + 3x 60mg = 9000 mg for 70 kg it seems enough for my case ?

I put you some recent pictures :

So here I am at the end of my treatment (I have 2 weeks left), and I'm not really happy ..
As you can see scars appeared despite that I did not touch my pimple during the treatment (some was crusts that I left, while going to the college aha)

Thank you for reading my post and I would like some advice:

- For you the treatment is totally successful ?

-Do my scars have a chance to improve over time ?

- I think I had scars in ice pick and atrophic just ?

- Which technique could be most useful ?

Thank you for all your answers, I'm really bored by this story, I'm not someone focused on my skin and appearance (the minimum) but now I'm a little lost .. ++

Yes they will improve over time, they are extremely fragile right now. Your skin is thinned from the Accutane. For some that takes 6 months to year to see improvement.

Your major issue I see right now is the redness or wounding post acne called PIE. You can look at the skin section and PIE for some treatments. Vascular laser is the most effective for discoloration.

For your pits I would wait 6 months at least after finish and do Subcision to life any pitting.
You will need 3 of those at 3 months apart with chinese cupping (Amazon) or more expensive filler wait till it runs out.
You will do RF microneedling 3 treatments.
tca cross for your icepicks.
Lastly a few tca peels or a deep sedated peel or fully ablative erbium resurfacing for texture.
Treat when you have time and money, Many take 3 years.

If you go the DIY route at home to save money. Do Derminator dermastamping every month, and get several tca peels done. Be sure to get subcision with the Chinese cupping (amazon).

Read the FAQ for more info especially the peels section and subcision. [Edited content out]

Hello, thank you Beautifulambition for your plan, I think my scars are improved a bit since April
I was very busy and was trying to think of something other than my skin problems, it's why I was not on the site anymore. and that I did not answer you :).

But since 3-4 days I literally tried to understand everything about acne scar, at least what is available to us, and this site helped me a lot.

it's pretty annoying to know that I have a scars cause my first dermatologist did not think (or did not want to clean my skin to remove the microcysts),
Also to say that I could have a normal skin if I had taken 'tane 1-2 years before, but it's like that, some are better and others worse.

I decided to keep this post, to motivate myself and see the evolution and why not help other people.
If a moderator can change his place and put it in the forum acne scars it's nice

Some photo to comparateur the heal after accutane, I apply only jojoba oil,
any advice concern product is welcome :

I wonder if I'm going to see Dr.lim this summer because I'm not far from Brisbane.
I do not know if treating them after 2-3 months post-accutane is good, at least I will plan the treatment for later because I do not intend to treat them myself.

Have a good day !
