Kenalog for subcision nodules

Recommended Posts

Have a nodule from subcision, and had 1 round of kenalog. When I touch it, seems to have flattened the nodule, but visually kinda looks the same. Does kenalog actually treat the nodule or just flatten all the skin?

It should resolve itself. Even without Kenalog shots, ... just takes a long time. Your Dr must be good. Remember they are supposed to be dilute. Too much or too strong and you get a divot. A good doctor is progressive sometimes needing 2 sessions to avoid this. But don't be to hasty getting shots! A hidden hematoma is a natural filler if it's hidden below the skin, and will resolve with time. Many are fine if it's not visible. I would give it some more time to see how you do.
