(hey i'm new by the way)

i've been batteling acne for about 4-5 years now.

i started just using otc products.

i've used benzacyline as well, didn't do much to help me.

i went to the derm and he gave me differin + tetra.

the first 2 weeks it seemed to help slightly.

then in the 4th (or so) week, my skin broke out bad, REALLY bad.

my skin seriously looked 10 times worse then it ever had in my life. i tried to keep my head up and continue treatment.

after about week 6 it started to calm down.

now i'm on week 7 1/2 and things seem to be getting back to normal.

i'm just loosing hope with differin because even though my skin has improved greatly since my 4th week break out, it is still worse than it was when i started treatment.

i'm wondering if i should stop using differin/tetra or should i stick with it?

how long would be a good enough time

thanks!
