What would you suggest for treating boxcar scars on temples?

* Subcision + cupping or filler 4times, when the filler runs out do it again.
* RF microneedling, when the filler runs out every 3 months - takes 3 months+ to heal.
* TCA Cross to smaller scars
* TCA Peels or Erbium laser resurfacing.

Do it over time allowing your body time to heal. Look at subcision in the FAQ and the tca section,

Why do they look more hypertrophic scars (eg. raised bumps) rather than boxcars (eg. depression with hard edges)?

Nope they are box car with tethering odd linear pick scar.. 29-31 g needle, start off with saline subcision with CO2 FRACTIONAL, density 5-8% - 4 day heal time. If inpatient, subcision with HA filler- predictable, safe - if superficial ( don't hit temporal artery), if in real hurry, 25 g long needle Vertical mid temple area (safe zone), 1.0 ml Filler. This lifts the scars from beneath, and the superficial filler and subcsion treats the top. Very predictable outcome. The reason I mentioned the first treatment is that is is permanent, as only saline used. Can use cupping BUT downside is increase risk of haematomas. My limited 2 cents worth. In closing, TCA CROSS to 3-4 linear medium depth scars. Not a hard job, just need the right guy.
