That's not how it works. You dont' goto the dentist and they say ok lets just start drilling. No treatment is customized to your concern. In this case scars. We are not shopping at the supermarket for treatments. This is how you seriously mess up your face and doctors will take advantage of it and say "but you said you wanted these treatments." Post your scars for treatment advice, if I haven't already given you advice. It depends on the scar type and what's going on!

If you're a cancer patient, would you not want to know everything about the disease and the available course of treatment? Or are you the type of patient who blindly follows the doctor's orders, not knowing completely what you're getting? Acne scar revision is no different IMO. Being prepared by equipping yourself with knowledge about your own scars before you see a dermatologist will be of big help.
