any one have experience with radiofrequency micro needling? I know it is fairly new, but would like to hear any information at all. Is this safe to be done by an esthetician or should only a Dr. perform this?

RF energy devices are pretty effective for shallow to medium boxcars and rolling scars. It won't help you if you have icepick scars. Also if your scars are severe, you should consider getting subcision + filler combo instead. Even though it's not a rocket science, RF devices should be left in the hands of doctors who know the facial anatomy.

Dr Weiner is great... I think RF Microneedling should be done by doctors, Weiner delegates this ... no problem if test shots done. A good specialist will pick the device based upon it's merits. Infini RF is good, but has problems with spring strength and carbon build up with insulation. Intesif has limitation with PD and power, but vvvv strong motor. Intracel ... well 16 needles, 2 mm. Enough said. The top guys will ALWAYS adjust energy levels, PD, and depth depending on the scar areas and 'feel'. So, aesthetician can deliver results, experienced Plastics or Dermatologist in theory should deliver better outcomes based upon training. I wish you well. May I ask where you got your RF needling? The skill of the surgeon is very important for doing this treatment. How did it melt the fat in your face?
