Whey protein/Dairy consumption = Acne

So I started working out a year ago, for the first 8 months I was consuming alot of dairy products like milk, mass gainers and whey protein. I had clear skin and then around the 9th month in, I started breaking out. Is it possible that I become “allergic” to dairy? because I love dairy and I dont know why all of sudden dairy makes me break out. Is it a hormone thing or just a coincidence ? I have been going through alot of stress and wont be able to handle it anytime soon but I really wish I can consume alot of dairy cause Im trying to gain mass. Its hard to with plant based protein cause it taste like garbage. i did cut out fairy for a few months but i still broke out like a teenager. I am also 24 years old and did have acne when i was 18 and went on accutane and it cleared it and its come back to haunt me and im on minocycline now.
