1st pic: lighten by flash from the front (looks totally fine = 0 anxiety)
2st pic: natual indoor lighting (still totally fine = 0 anxiety)

3. light is coming from the top to enhance the depths of the scars (looks pretty bad = increased anxiety levels, but still ok since its the worst possible lighting)
4. same pic with some photo effect to really enhance the scars(this is seriously bad, i mean pretty horrible, even though its manipulated)

havent done any kind of treatments on my scars yet
considering doing subcision/ buying a dermaroller / Dermapen and using it at home

looking at the before-after photos from the internet 95% of them comes off as fake for me(most of them are just playing with different lighting conditions),
also read stories about people paying 1-2thousand dollars for no improvement at all

Where should I start?

currently im living in Denmark

Dermarollers are not regarded too highly on this forum.

dermaroller& dermapen are worthless in your case.
your scarring is tethered and fat deficient. it will take several subcisions+ filler to see some improvement on these scars.

since you live in denmark, have you heard of dr henningsen? -> [Link removed]
he seems interested in the field of acne scar revision. dr davin lim from brisbane (famous acne scar specialist) recommends him to patients in europe.

Dr. Emil was recommended to him by me aka the Denmark comment above 😉

He does Subcision and filler, and yes you do need this to baseline and even out those tethered and fat deficient cheeks.

As Serius said under him I would go with Infini RF next you need 3 treatments.

Finally you could get a tca peel done or several medium strength tca peels for texture.

Please do not make the mistake many make on this board and schedule that all in a month, collagen takes 3+ months to build. Collagen is very fragile, space you treatments out! Some treat over 3 years when they have down time.

No you might have to get that elsewhere at a med spa or nearby clinic. I know he does TCA cross well and Subcision with filler. Hes a laser guy so you might have to check or say no and get that done elsewhere. Just say you would rather do tca spot peels then laser or you need to wait and think about it. Wait a few months between treatments. RF microneedle has many names Infini, Intensif, secret, vivance, intracel 😉

your type of scarring is not uncommon (in guys particular) and there are ppl here who are interested in seeing dr henningsen as well.
