I have been on the regimen for about 12 weeks now, and my skin was really clear in the first few weeks, but now its gone back to how it was before I started, it seems my skin has gotten use to it or something. SO I giving up, I only have mild acne and it couldn't even be cleared up. Does any know of any other regimen's I could try?????

I dont know if this is the same for others but i went to the Docs and he gave me a prescription for what is called clindoxyl gel. Its 5% benzoyl peroxide but has clyndoxyl in it which reduces the redness and cleans out the zit and i have only been using it for a little over a week now only at bed time and then a tiny bit of 2.5% panoxyl during the day and my skin is almost next to clear if nothing is working for you at this point maybe you should think about going to the doctor and asking him about it.

this happened to me as well...i decided to vamp up the amount = problem solved. maybe you should try that since it worked before. it's been proven bp cannot 'get used' to your skin like acctuane....once it works, it'll always work.

yeah, it is extremely rare to become immune to bp! you need to make sure you are following the regimen to the letter. sometimes after people clear up, they start changing the regimen (using less bp or moisturizer) without even realizing it.

No one becomes allergic to bp. This is a physical impossibility. So I would say it is 1 of a few things.

1. you are not using enough bp

2. you are not following the regimen as closely as before

3. you have developed more severe acne

Most likely it is just a matter of getting on the regimen strictly and using PLENTY of 2.5% bp.
