My doctor gave me Retin A cream 0.025% for my moderate and persistent hormonal acne. I put it on this morning for the first time and there was no drying or anything. It's like I'm immune to it. I've tried clindoxyol and minocycline both failing and my doctor told me if retin a doesn't work we'll do Accutane. I'd really like it if retin a worked so should I perhaps up the dosage to 0.05% or 0.1%? And should I swipe out the cream or the gel form?  It is only my first day on it but i've been reading reviews all morning about people complaining how much they hate retin a because of the dryness and flaking of retin a, and for me its not even making my face feel tight or the least bit dry.

Thanks so much for any feedback! Desperate for answers because I'm so impatient and hate going to University with a face full of red marks and zits.
