Old technology, they have been doing this in various parts of Asia forever. They even have portable plasma units now. It helps for very minor scarring. We use plasma in America - certain PS have it, ... it's very expensive (treatment)$$$$ and has the same down time as a strong peel or laser.

BA is correct, FYI even with the new Bovie unit, Plasma is cheap.. no joke its one of the cheapest devices to buy, about 20 K for the latest device. KOI (Key option leaders) probably get it for less than 14k, cheap compared to say a Lumenis Ultrapulse or a 200K under powered Picosure FOCUS. Always time and place for a device, its good for monomorphic shallow box car scars in someone who does not need heating to stimulate more collagen. Plasma, looks and sound good, .... but it marketing at its best.
