After an unsuccessful attempt of weaning off retinol cream, I am starting it back up again. I was on it for 6 years and then went cold turkey, with very unfavorable results (lol). Has anyone had experience restarting retinol? How long did it take for your skin to snap back? Thank you so much.
I'm in a very similar situation. When i went off it, it took a few months for my skin to gradually get bad again. Its taken me 12 or so months to realise that that could be reason why I've been breaking out (I can't even really remember when I stopped using the cream but i was about 12 months ago now and things have been getting progressively worse for 9 months or so). Is this at all similar to your experience?
