Hi
I did post something about me using doxycycline and adapalene a month before but honestly speaking it's not working for me. Ive been using doxy for almost 2months before posting that post before but as you can see on my photos they didnt even have a slightest change including the defferin.
I was so discourage because at work one or two of my workmates would comment that how my acnes are getting worst or do i have an allergy everytime that happens i would always feel defensive and get mad at them and tell them that's it's always been there and stop noticing it. ive been battling this acne for 4years now. Im 28 years old meaning i was 24 when the break out happened.
After everything i've tried and tested just last week i happen to read something about spironolactone. Me as a nurse knows what medicine is that and what it is for so i was skeptical. But i read that article it was dated august 2017 so it's a farely new article.
And it made me realize that yes maybe maybe i have a hormonal acne. I really dont want to go to dermatologists again in 4years i have this acne i tell you i have been on dermas many times. Before that article i overheard one of our resident doctors that he was taking spironolactone for his 'facial wellness' *his gay* and one of my co-worker aka my friend also gay told me that i should try taking spiro. This gay friend is the only friend that i confine in to everything about acne. Because when he was younger he also suffered severe acne but lucky him he got over it now and he understand my delima he even sends me articles or skin care articles on messenger. So after 3 sources talking about this drug i told myself why not? Ive tried antibiotics. Defferin. Dermas. Glutha. BP and etc.

So last week i tried it. And yesterday was my first week. According to google  its not an instant remedy *as always* i understand how spiro works in helping acne and why it leads me to believe that maybe spiro is the answer. I have always been have a very very very very oily skin. Believe me when i say very very very oily skin. You can see it and you can touch it everytime i wash my face at ths end of the day after work when splash water on my face i can feel the oilyness and when i looked at my palms this water mixed with oils on my face is very visible. Huhu
And it led me to think spiro can control or lessen the oil production of my glands. If the oiliness can be controlled less sebum on my face less bacteria and less inflammation on my face.
And i am exagerating or whatsoever. The day after i took one tab of spiro i really felt that the oiliness somehow lessened in like 0.5% hehe
So i hope this is really is it....
