Hi Guys and Girls

Was just after a bit of advice on identifying the type of acne scars I have and how to treat them. (pictures uploaded are of the same area, just in different lighting)

Bit of background; had pretty bad acne from the age of 14 to 20, pretty bad scarring which healed over time but still have a few lingering marks, bumps and small indents.

Any suggestions would be smashing.

Cheers

Hi there your main problem is hyperpigmentation or PIE, there is a test in the faq, top post of the hyperpigmentation sub. You can try to use hydroquinone and vitamin c serum for the marks. They take a very long time to go away. The quickest route to fix them is vbeam, excel v, ipl, or 1064nm lasers and will take several treatments. I see you have some temple box cars, these can be fixed with subcision using a nokor needle and possibly rf microneedle like Infini rf or Vivance. For other texture issues you can get spot tca peels done for the cheeks etc.
