I've been taking anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications. Also therapy. My mental health have dramatically improved but my appearance still affects me. I'm still super shy. I think I'm fairly "normal" mentally now. I've gotten closer to my husband physically. I'm performing better as a mother. I stopped wearing makeup as I have too much acne to cover up anyway. My obsession with zit popping is not as bad as before. I'm happy half of the time.

take vitamin D3, (it makes a huge difference to have better skin) if you are inside the house most of the time
soak flaxseeds in water overnight with oatmeal, dry fruits and nuts, cook till done
drink buttermilk on at evenings for better skin
stay away from wheat! they cause mood swings and depression! I know from my own experience
if you eat junk you'll feel like junk
eat lots lots of fruits and vegetables
