So summer is coming in a month and I just started using roaccutane, I was wondering whether I can tan through out roaccutane or not? I read that a lot of people advise against tanning beds and so but I was wondering what about sun tanning with protection (15 -20 spf) would that be ok?

Have you actually researched the severe side effects of accutane that can continue for years after you stop accutane.

My son can no longertan at all and many other people say the say thing!

It depends on your skin. I'v been to Thailand and Indonesia last summer while on accutane (40 mg a day). It was sunny and around 25-30 degrees. I used 20 spf and did not sunburn during my holiday.

Really depends on case per case. I had a hard time tanning while on it, tended to burn super easy instead. I was on a pretty high dose (I think it was like 75mg, but it was a long time ago).

Be careful with it if you try, Accutane tends to leave your skin super super sensitive.
