I was just wondering if anyone could help me find sonething that would work on my skin, all of my friends have amazing clear skin and i have red breakouts and white heads all over my forehead. It really gets me down because wearing makeup looks awful but i refuse to go out the house without it on. I havr tried multi vitamins, charcoal face masks and face scrubs and the lush fresh facemask, all have worked for a few days and then my skin goes bad again. I also get an oil build up through the day, and help or simillar experiences i would love to hear!!

Hello,
The original Proactiv worked really well for me when I wasin my teens and twenties. Now I am in my thirties and the only thing that has helped is Spironolactone. Was a miracle for me and I had tried everything else besides Accutane! It dried upmy extremely oily skin and hair.I also take OrthoCyclen. I have had a very bad experience with retinoids and I would personally steer clear of them. They may work for you though... The only topicals that I would recommend are Clindamycin Gel and Finacea. Best of luck to you!

Before trying reccomended chemicals (which is not good for your skin in long-term) try out natural products beforehand. Have you tried aloe vera with honey? If you have popping acne on your skin this might help and reduse it all.

Hello,
I was also faced this type of problem. I consulted with a skin specialist, he suggested me some medicine, I continued but no change of my skin.
I used some chemical product from the market, It became my skin so rubbish especially face. I could not go out side. All the time I felt disappointed.
I used different products time to time, but there was no change. Finally I found some natural products for the skin & which can be made in home. I followed then one month & finally I escape from this skin problems. Now my skin looking so fantastic.

Hi Bailey, I'm sorry but could we have a little more background info? How old are you, if I may ask? Yes, I too have experienced short-term success with nearly everything available...and increased oil production with all of it. You are not alone. Unfortunately, these products are doing exactly what they are designed to do...provide FAST results. But the hard truth is, fast results won't usually produce lasting results.

By the way, your ages matters as @TheBean said. Indeed, products at market rarely come with long-term effects. This can be many different reasons, maybe bad bacteria in your body which is causing this issue? If you want to, do some research about antibiotics (im currently using - tetracycline). It will kill the bacteria (It also kills good bacteria in your body so it is not reccomended) but if your skin is effecting your life on a daily basis, nothing is worse. Give it a go and wait a few weeks to see if your skin is improving. Remember, using skin products will barely fix the issue (Just for short period). The reason for having bad skin has always to do with your inside body, such as - bad diet (a lot of junk etc), lack of too much of vitamins and many other hundereds of reasons. So, always try to fix the inside problem to get great results for the long-term. Skin products are full of chemicals and are pretty much just for business. Hope this helps, let me know updates :)
