Hello , I'm 18 years old and a male . I've never suffered an acne with this type and it is the worst I've faced since a while . It all started when i moved to a hostel . The condition of the hostel was hot and humid . To make matters worse , i ate my breakfast with soy milk . Then i noticed lots of small bumbs emerged to my forehead . Other area on my face is not affected . Question is , is it subclinical acne or folliculis on my forehead . I tried the remedy but none of it works . I used ketoconazole 2% shampoo (not nizoral ) and it made my skin even worse (maybe because I didn't try the remedy consistently , i don't know ) using that shampoo now a real acne came out and it made me really stressed out and scared .What is I'm suffering actually ?? .What is the solution ? I'm very desperate please help :(

Hi! Is going to the dermatologist a possibility? Since you have never dealt with this kind of thing before and you don't know what works for you/what doesn't it will be really hard to get an accurate diagnosis on a forum. You would be better off getting a professional diagnosis so that you don't use the wrong types of treatments or make it worse.

In the meantime, if you want to experiment, try using Head&Shoulders Shampoo & rub a little down onto your forehead to see if that helps - the Pyrithione Zinc in the shampoo can be helpful for several different skin conditions and it could possibly help you (Feel free to do you're own research first though, of course). Make sure you wash your face every morning & night - since you live in a humid climate you want to make sure you wash away all the built up sweat/dirt/oil from the day and when you're sleeping.Keep your hair out of your face as much as possible & make sure you are washing it regularly so that it doesn't irritate or worsen the skin on your forehead.

I keep seeing people with this same "acne-like rash" just on their foreheads! ? You are the third teen in three days...There is another link in this other thread (going through the same thing as you) about skin conditions that mimic acne, but aren't.

Hi Haqimi,
I'm sure telling you it's not that bad and it'll cleat up soon ... is not the kind of input you're seeking out. I am sorry though that as a young man, going through adult acne straight up sucks !! Reading that you will soon be going to specialist, a Dermatologist, is great news. In meantime, noticing the discussion about your environmental antagonists (humidity, etc) I'd add to the already given
advice, that you should take care as to not use your hands or anything not
"clean", to wipe away any sweat from your forehead .... Instead try to use either
a clean towel, wash cloth, or even paper products like paper towels or tissues. My recommendation is to ensure you don't aggravate or worsen the build up by using such things as what I mentioned. Truly wish you best of luck clearing
up your break out. Kindly, Carmella

Hi there! Try washing your face with dr Bronners soap, tone with Bragg's Apple cider vinegar, and moisturize with coconut oil
