So I did dermroller last night with a 0,5 dermaroller, a 1,5 dermaroller and then a 2,5 dermastamp.
Also did tca crosss last week and it worked for 50%

The first picture is right after, the three others of this morning.
I always like the way my skin looks the day after because of the micro swelling. And just more healthy look because of the redness beneath the skin.

I you look down at the screen you can see I have damaged skin, damaged pores and a few larger scars. (it is harder to see now because of the light)
It was a lot worse a few years ago and the majority of scars have gone. It's just that my skin looks very unhealthy.

Does it make sense for me to do fractional resurfacex twice or 3 times and then erbium yag. I want my skin to flake at one point. I don't think the fractional is going to do this enough. Any advice:??? I have no experience with fractional..

treatment dr khan, laser, subscision,  angel prp, fractora. march 2015

my skin a  half year ago 10 times healthier.

Not sure what to de with these three deeper scars.  I have tried subcission and dermarolling. I got 20% improvement.

Feeling kind of lost in all the treatments and advice. Does fractional laser do anything?  I haven't heard any success on this site whatsoever??

Does it make sense if I went for two fractional laser treatments and after that a co2 laser. I just feel that here in the Netherlands there aren't any specialists who can combine treatments. They just laser everything

If you want your skin to peel, just do a TCA peel. A full density classic laser treatment will do the most but also has the most side effects and things that can go wrong. Lots of down time, you can look a big scabby for a bit. Fractional does very little (10%-20% improvement at a time). We heal poorly having acne scars so it makes since your skin would heal funny. IT also could be some other condition that prevents proper healing.

Fractional laser is like a dermastamp, just stronger with energy.

Your skin looks great to me frankly, could be much much worse.

You could start out with a full density, ablative erbium peel if you wish, Co2 is much stronger.

Are you using proper care after you do these procedures, the wounds do not look moist, could be they are not protected enough.

Have you tried Retin A cream, that makes your skin turn over quickly.

Thanks A lot

Yes I already had great improvement it just went worse a few months ago. Haven' t been treating it very well.

I probably will go for ablative erbium peel, it's that I have fractional planned on 27th of September. I might do two of these and then the full density ablative erbium peel. (co2 is to strong, I actually meant yag)

I use some Vaseline spray

Thanks I will look into retin a.

Your advice makes more sense then most doctors.

I agree with BA, your skin looks totally fine.

It upsets me that you've been quick to judge me and a few others for being distressed over "minor scars". my scaris much more obvious than anything on your face. I'dtrade places with you ina heartbeat.

i think prepping with Retin-a fora few weeks followed bya few professional microneedling sessions with some nice serums and peels would do the trick.

Thanks for saying my scars look fine, you probably want me to say how horrific your scar is. Sorry if I cant

That's fine. But just don't tell me it's minor and that I shouldn't be distressed over it, that I'm seeking an unrealistic standard of beauty, and that all it needs is a good treatment (without offering any advice) when all of my treatments are failing. I know you wouldn't want it on your face. Not after seeing what your stressing over.

The thing the worries me about you is that you stay inside, wear a hat and let it ruin your life completely.
The way I commented and others did, was not to make you upset, only to let you see it from a different perspective.

If you say my skin looks fine I take that as a compliment

Fair enough. But i am tortured by my scar. I am worried too. I hope I can get it to a point that I can live with.

seriously, your skin looks pretty good. Don't risk ruining it with energy devices. Try a professional microneedling session or some peels.

Hey, I think you should consider going for three treatments (3 ml) of Restylane Vital or something similar to plump up your skin it might actually be what you need. It gives it moisture and stuff. I think I lost a lot of hyaluronic acid after Accutane and all the treatments so this was a great thing for me. I have done two now going in for my third in two weeks. I actually like it a lot. You have to keep doing it, but probably only once or twice a year.

I really understand what you mean, you should also look into jojoba/rose hip oil combo as well as use a lot of vaseline at night... It has also helped me. I wish I could figure out why I have such dehydrated skin sometimes though (especially at night)!

I've been looking in to either restylane booster or juverderm hydrate.

My understanding is that it's NOT a filler but provides intense hydration and like you said it plumps the skin.

What difference have you noticed with the restylane ? Does it improve the texture?

Although I was never on accurate, my skin looks and feels severely dehydrated.

That sounds good, thanks for the advice.

Hydration or dehydration sometimes seems to be the problem for my skin problems. Had great results and smooth skinwas happy againafter co2 I somehow messed it up during this year.

Dermaroller made it a bit better alsohave peptides now. I will look into Restylane Vital

Well yes I think it is a bit better. I mean quite a lot. But, you get used to it so I still see my scars. Skin is in better shape though. Going back in two weeks for subcision + vital again.

However, you do look younger with it. I was boarding a plane the other day and I got the seat by the emergency exit. The flight attendant came up and was like "excuse me but I really have to check your age" I was like dude I'm 27. So it might have made me look younger. Yep I think I look a bit younger.

It also got a bit better after I started eating meat again don't know if that is a coincidence or not... But a nurse told me that you need meat for you skin don't know if she is right. But, I did need meat for my body at least I can tell. I love it too, not giving it up again!

I think protein will help with skin, most people who had success on this site usually mention protein in their diet.

I'm trying to lose a bit of weight before I start needling again so that I won't be on a restrictive diet when I start my treatment and will deffo include as much protein as possible

It has made my scarring a bit better. Like overall? I look a bit younger now and my face looks to be in better shape. It is no miracle though but it is probably the best I have done. She used hydrate and subcision at the same time which did wonders. I am doing this again in a couple of weeks. I did only Vital once and it just made it look worse (without subcsion however it was temporary but the overall effect was better with subcision). Make sure they do subcision first with ANY filler. However, with this one you can massage it and it'll spread but it plumps up the skin where they apply it so technically if you can get rid off the strings holding the scar down it can potentially make it look great.

Don't say subcision to these people tell them to cut the bands under the scar they do it for wrinkles all the time so they will know what you are talking about. It is free when you get Hydrate.

Don't expect miracles though but for me it is worth it to get some of my old skin quality back.

Yeah you look very young. Nice side effect.;) Dr Khan told me when you recover to eat protein and colored vegetables. I was vegetarian for a while it didn' t work out for me in combination with sport.
