I started having very bad acne about 2 years ago when I was 15, and could not get rid of it. It wasn't until January of this year that I found out I needed to be taking birth control and my acne finally started clearing up. Now, I've been on the pill for about 6 months, and the acne has mostly gone away. I get break outs every now and then but the pimples fade pretty quickly. But I still have a lot of red, dark marks from my acne that won't go away, and a lot of bumps in areas like my chin and center of forehead/between the eyebrows. I also have very large pores on my nose and many blackheads. So overall, my skin isn't clear yet. I was wondering  if I should start using the regimen with benzoyl peroxide to clear up my issues, or if I should use the glycolic acid on its own or both together? Or should I use niether? I've had bad results when using chemical treatments on my acne in the past so I get nervous to try it again. Advice please?
