Moonchild 0 Share Posted November 20, 2004 I have a raised scar on my forehead that is roughly the size of a nickel. I don't know what can be done to remove it. Would dermabrasion help flatten it out? What is the best way to remove this thing? I've had the co2 laser done and would like for everyone to know that it did absolutley nothing to help alleviate my scars, even the very mild ones. Thanks in advance. species8472 0 Share Posted November 20, 2004 I have been using Mederma on some raised scars and it is definitely helping. I also used ScarZone for a couple of weeks before Mederman and that helped too. The scar is getting softer and shrinking over time. I also have some discoloration (white) from the scar which I don't think Mederma will help. I'll wait and see. Instructions say it will take 3-6 months of use for older scars. I say try it if you want something that is not invasive and doesn't cost a fortune.
