Diet and Self-Deceit

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I've heard the argument that people who eat crap still don't get acne and have flawless beautiful skin. The ensuing 'logic' is that these people will eventually 'pay for it' multifold as they age because of all sorts of problems (cardiovascular, blood, etc). However, this logic is just self-deceit, I think. Just look at how many people around us are smoking, drinking, binging, partying late nights, snacking, whatever and they live to a ripe old age without a single sign of acne. They didn't die of any heart disease, either. They merely pass on from old age. Simple as that.

Are we deceiving ourselves that if these people don't get acne because of their crazy dietary habits that they will somehow 'pay for it' later on? I think we need to move on that some people just have superior genes. What do you think?
