Hi there!
So I am desperately in need of some help with my face, I have (for the most part) gotten my acne itself under control with a prescription, a pill form and I also use Atralin, a topical perscription. However, the marks and discoloration/red marks from postinflammatory erythema (at least I think that's what it is) as an aftermath are just as embarassing and terrible. I've researched face bleaching creams, vitamin c treatments, and many many more but I still do not feel confident to make a decision based off of what I've read. Was hoping somebody here could help me out and send me in the right direction. Much much appreciated!!!

I think a light chemical peel will improve your discoloration .

No it wont. What you have is erythema, and it cant be peeled away like hyperpigmentation.

Just researched that- never would have known about that. Thank you
Now do you have any suggestions to treat post inflammatory erythema? my face is and has been for quite some time now more sensitive than it used to be. The topical treatment I use and other various products dry out my skin a few times a month at least..
