Why does fruit give me pimples? Does this mean i have candida?

I have been eating what i think is super healthy recently - mostly salad and vege, small amounts of animal products, legumes and non gluten grains. It gives me some improvement with my skin but everytime i eat fruit (or any other sugar like honey) i get alot of new pimples. I find i also sometimes get a headache (bananas) or bloated feeling on the stomach (apples, pears). I've been wondering why i'm so intolerant to sugars. Could this be a sign that i have candida? Do things like garlic and oregano oil really kill candida or is this just a myth? I would so love to be able to eat fruit again because its healthy and seems like a food humans are meant to eat (thinking of the apes diet).
Or is it nothing to do with candida and instead some issue with my blood sugar/insulin? I've never been diagnosed with diabetes or anything and not overweight.
Any thoughts??
