Hello!

I just wanted to know if its possible to break out from the smell of something? I know I'm very sensitive to citrus and since cutting it out a lot of my jawline acne went away.. but my parents love to use lemon for everything, so the zest smell often fills the house. I find that even though I cut it out of my diet when I get saturated with the smell it still irritates my skin. I know even without the smell I would still have some acne, so the whole thing could be coincidental, do you think the smell of anything is powerful enough to evoke an acne response? Or is it just my mind playing tricks on me?
